Trifle pudding




Jelly crystals - of your choice - we used raspberry
Fruits of your choice - we had banana and apple
Custard - vanilla flavour
Dry fruits - almonds, cashew
Beaten milk cream
Plain sponge cake
Make the jelly as per directions on the pack. Allow to set and chill.
Custard - if you want the trifle to be the kind you can cut with a knife, make a thick custard preparation. I personally prefer it to be slightly semi solid, it seeps in and also melts in the mouth.
Cut the fruits into decent medium sized pieces.
Also the cake into thin slices as per serving dish.
Here a tall glass has been used.
First layer - cake slice
Second layer - custard
Third layer - fruits
Fourth layer - jelly
Repeat till you reach the top of the glass. Top with whipped cream and with finely chopped dry fruits. Cover with wrap and chill in the refrigerator.
Serve and enjoy.
