This is a recipe from Good Housekeeping. I am not sure if it is authentic, it had some ajwain (carom seed?) in it
Corn flour – Makki ki atta – 1 measure
Whole wheat flour – 1 measureAjwain - ¼ tsp
Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
Chilie powder – ½ tsp
Salt to taste.
Oil – for deep frying
Make a stiff dough using corn and wheat flour and other ingredients.
Roll out thin.
Cut into triangular shapes.
Deep fry.
Serve with salsa and cheese sauces. I had some spicy ready made chili-garlic sauce that was used as a dip.
