Hummus with garlic and tahini sauce - simplified

I saw this recipe at Naughty Curry - it looked good.  And I thought I would try it out. Now I did not want to make extra tahini sauce to keep away in the refrigerator.  And so I just decided to make what was required for this little bowl of hummus - all at one go.

Whole chick pea (Kabuli channa) - 1/2 cup cooked soft
Garlic - 5-6 pods
Sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Chilie powder (paprika) - to taste - 1 tsp maybe
Thick yogurt - 1 tbsp
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp

Take the cloves of garlic. Smear with oil and roast on pan till slightly browned.
Peel.

Roast the sesame seeds on a pan till they sort of pop around. Cool

First grind the seasme seeds and garlic.
Add the cooked chickpeas, salt, oil, chilie powder - grind to paste in the blender.
Remove to a dish. Add the yoghurt and lime juice - whip till well blended.
Garnish with added chilie powder

I had it with Indian bread - the roti.  And the next day in the morning with a dosa. Not the ideal combination but can be had and relished.
