Carrot, beans, channa dhal palya

I saw this recipe on another cookery site . The photographs are very good and this seemed simple enough for me to try it out this morning, and it was packed for lunch. It was good. Try it.
The ingredients will be approximate and I do not think you will go wrong.
French Beans - 100 gms- strung and diced
Carrot - 100 gms - diced
Channa dhal - 3 tbsps ( soak for a while and cook till tender but so soft that it can get mashed - you can put it in the cooker in a small katori when rice is being cooked)
Fresh coconut - 3 tbsp
Green chilli - 1
Seasoning:
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Black gm dhal - 1/2 tsp
Channa dhal - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Hing - pinch
Jaggery - ( optional - I did not add it , but I think it would taste good if you like the bit of sweetness in the curry)
Red chillie -2
Take a little oil, add the mustard and after a while the other two dhals and the red chillies, hing. When the mustard crackles and the urad dhal gets slightly brown add the vegetables and saute a while.
Add a little water the green chilie and cook the vegetables.
When the vegetables are almost cooked add the cooked channa dhal ( ensure that it is not mashed), the jaggery ( optional), salt, coconut.
Stir a while. Remove. Squeeze lime if you like the taste. Serve.
NICE.
